Crocosmia Firestars™ Scorchio (Showstopper)
this specific variety, of the Crocosmia Firestars™ series, has won the ‘Award of Garden Merit’ from the Royal Horticultural Society AGM (H4) 2021.
The ‘Scorchio’has very large flowers and has a yellow base heavily overlaid with orange and red central stripes radiate from the centre of the flower on the lower petals; proved to be winter hardy in our trial garden.

These bulbous perennials are reliable tough and make a splash of colour in the Summer border. Grow in full sun in well drained but moisture retentive soil.
The colourful flower spikes make excellent cut flowers either in flower or later once they have set seed.
