Crocosmia Firestars™ Hot Spot (Cherry Chops)
this specific variety, of the Crocosmia Firestars™ series, has won the ‘Award of Garden Merit’ from the Royal Horticultural Society AGM (H4) 2021.
The ‘Hot Spot’ has large golden yellow flowers with distinct cherry red stripes radiating along the centre of each petal; proved to be winter hardy in our trial garden.

These bulbous perennials are reliable tough and make a splash of colour in the Summer border. Grow in full sun in well drained but moisture retentive soil.
The colourful flower spikes make excellent cut flowers either in flower or later once they have set seed.
