Cotinus coggyria Golden Lady
the bright orange new shoots in spring turn golden yellow during the season
Description
Cotinus (smoketree)
The fine foliage loves the color in summer; it is not affected by sunlight. Golden Lady has a compact, good propagation habit and blooms on two-year-old wood. It grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide. The cream-colored flowers attract bees and butterflies! This Golden Lady can actually be planted in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Golden Lady is easy to propagate and grows well in containers. Hardy down to -20 ºC.
